bytEM API exposes a public data index and tools for discovering, searching and requesting access to DEID-identified city data. It supports index/search, DEID status checks, reference resolution and demand (access) requests.
Build a city-data explorer, a POI lookup, or a small civic-data dashboard using bytEM's public index. You can search the public index without signing in, check DEID availability and metadata, then request governed access (via Matrix) for deeper data. The API returns geolocation info and supports bbox filtering, summaries and paging. If you need write/exchange access you will use a Matrix identity and coordinate with the data domain.
