MangaDex’s public REST API provides manga, chapter and cover metadata plus search and reading-related endpoints. It also supports user authentication for account actions and uploads.
Build a manga browser, a reading list exporter, or a small discovery app using manga metadata and chapter feeds. You can fetch covers and chapter lists without registering, and add account features (follow lists, uploads) using personal OAuth clients. The API is public and free to use for non-monetized projects, but observe the acceptable-use rules. Expect rate limits for friendly use, so cache results for better performance.
