Veabird Beach API provides free JSON feeds with live beach conditions and sargassum forecasts for resort locations. It returns beach-day grades, sargassum levels, water and air conditions, and a 16-day outlook per resort. Feeds are static JSON files, CORS-enabled, and updated every six hours.
Build a live resort dashboard, add a "Is the beach clear today?" badge, or send guest alerts when sargassum risk rises. You fetch simple JSON files for each resort and a 16-day outlook with no API key required. The service is free for sites and apps if you show the required “Data: Veabird” credit. Updates happen every six hours, so cache responses and avoid excessive polling.
