ViaCEP is a free web service that allows users to query Brazilian postal codes (CEPs) and retrieve address information in JSON or XML format. The service supports AJAX requests and facilitates easy integration for address autofill and validation in applications.
Build an autofill address form, bulk-validate Brazilian CEP lists, or power a delivery lookup for Brazil — all with no key. You can query a CEP to get street, neighborhood, city, state and official codes, or search by state/city/street (search returns up to 50 CEPs). It’s lightweight and easy to call from browsers or servers. Keep in mind very high-volume or mass validation requests may be blocked, so small-to-medium apps are ideal.
